Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

– Matthew 28:19

The Great Commission is Jesus’ final instructions to his followers to preach the gospel to every person and to make disciples of every nation. Still today Jesus calls his followers to make this task an utmost priority.

Rogers First is committed to sending and supporting missionaries around the world.  We currently have several families connected with our church serving in missions contexts.

Aaron and Danielle Miner serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Miners have four children.

Josh and Bevin Bold serve as volunteer Missionaries in Kurdistan and Germany with Iranian refugees. They also assist an orphanage in Mexico. Josh and Bevin have one daughter.

LINKS is a Nazarene program which creates a one-to-one relationship with a missionary family.  RFCN is linked with Nikolaj and Lydia Sawatzky who serve as the Eurasia Region Literature Coordinators.

We are involved in our local community, Northwest Arkansas and around the world through going and giving. Key ways we minister locally are through our Food Pantry, Saving Grace, Micah’s House, Samaritan Shop, Angel Tree, Crisis Care Kits, Pathway to Freedom, Chi Alpha, and supporting Rogers Primera Iglesia del Nazareno.

Our local missions council endeavors to lead our church in missions involvement through prayer, quarterly missions services, guest missionaries, and work and witness trips.

The primary way we fund missions is through Faith Promise. Faith Promise is systematically giving above the tithe for world evangelism and missions. Each spring, Rogers First holds a Faith Promise Weekend. Other missions offerings include Alabaster, Thanksgiving, and Easter.

There are ways for everyone to participate in reaching the world for Christ. Discover the difference your life can make. Find out how you can be involved  here
