During Sunday School the children participate in a Bible based lesson, which helps them learn about God and the way He wants them to live in today’s world. |

The children meet in the Children’s Chapel from 9:30-10:55 a.m. each Sunday morning. Children’s Chapel is designed for children grades 1st- 6th. During this time, children have the opportunity to engage in worship through music, God’s Word, and personal involvement in the service. It is geared toward reaching children for Christ, training the children in the Word of God, and encouraging them to reach out to others. It is our desire that the Children will know God’s love and kindness through Children’s Chapel, and that they will build friendships that last a lifetime.

Caravan is a weekly kids club for grades 1st-6th. Caravan meets each Wednesday, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Children’s Dept. CARAVAN is committed to the physical, social, mental, and spiritual growth of children. It uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help kids discover, develop, experience, and grow. Colorful badges are awarded to each child to mark their progress.
CARAVAN teaches children the beliefs of the Church of the Nazarene, information about prominent figures in the church’s history, and valuable skills to help them develop spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically.

Bible Quizzing | Grades 1-6 |

Children’s Quizzing is a Bible study program for children in grades 1st-6th. The purpose of Quizzing is to teach the Bible in a fun and exciting way, creating a desire and a love for studying God’s Holy Word.
Each year, children study one of five books of the Bible – Genesis, Exodus, 1st and 2nd Samuel, Matthew, and Acts. This year we are studying the book of Genesis. Quiz Practice is held each Sunday evening at 4:45 p.m. in the Children’s Dept. Quiz competitions are held monthly through the school year. At the quizzes, children participate with other churches on our zone and district to test their knowledge. In Quizzing, each child challenges himself or herself to reach award levels. In this approach, children quiz against a base of knowledge, not each other.
